
TREE & NATIVE PLANT SALE 2023
Join us on Friday-Saturday, April 7 & 8, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for this large Sale. It’s our 18th annual one. Species are from licensed nurseries and we obtain a Temporary Nursery Sales License from Oregon Department of Agriculture. This Sale has 2 Sections:
THE NATIVE PLANT SECTION
125 species available by pre-order or purchase on sale days. We encourage pre-ordering to best assure you will receive those special species you desire. Orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. THE BARE ROOT SECTION
This Includes shrubs and fruit-bearing, shade, and ornamental trees. Most of these bare root trees and shrubs are not true PNW “natives”, but they have been selected for their compatibility to thrive in our area but will not out-compete plants in our local native habitat.
These are not available by pre-order as we will not know the specific varieties we can obtain until just days before the sale.
No cranberry bushes this year.
INFORMATIONAL DISPLAYS
During the Sale, we will have resources, information, and handouts, including lists of native plants benefiting pollinating Insects, bees, hummingbirds/birds, erosion control, sunny locations, shady locations. There will be Handouts on care of bareroot trees and proper planting techniques. In addition, there will be a display of noxious weeds and other weeds of concern.
